A prosthetic technician will be expected to manufacture prosthetic limbs for patients with limb loss or absence - both upper and lower limbs to the specification of the clinical prosthetic staff. This involves laminating carbon and glass fibre composite materials and the moulding of thermo plastics. It also involves the assembly of prosthetic components. You will be required to use a range of hand tools as well as large free standing machines including routers, sanders and bandsaws and other tools.

Pharmacy technicians are a key part of the pharmacy team, carrying out specialised tasks, such as preparing complex medicines or dispensing medicines safely for patients.
